It has been 21 years since I graduated from my high school, school that I did over 4 different places to start with and there after engineering, work, MBA, work again and by now have so many layers of friend in so many different parts of the world that sometime if suddenly you get a call or email from a old classmate and they ask about connecting to some other classmate it takes some time to figure which layer of friend to connect whom. My relational database of the memory gets a difficult 'joints' to negotiate, and all of a sudden some data gets foggy, and you realize you are getting old.
I had been in touch with a few friends from all layers of my life over the years, but somehow my high school long lost class mates woke up this year, for apparently no obvious reason. In the beginning it was a trickle of few from the 'internet world', working in US etc connected, thanks to the Linkedin and facebook, then couple of days ago all of a sudden a flood of emails filled up the mail box and boom, we are in connection back with some 15 or 20 of them. It's a very enjoyable remembering the time we spend with each other and somehow all of a sudden makes you feel younger again and full of joy.
Can you spot the odd one in the group, or were we all odd then, wonder how we will see our photos another 20 year from now.
